Singing Holidays

My singing holidays take place in beautiful settings across the UK and Europe. They’re designed for people who want to travel somewhere special with like-minded others and explore the joy of singing together. 

My singing holiday in Portugal in 2026 is in the middle of an ancient cork forest, close to the mountains.  There will be wild flowers that we can walk amongst, with wonderful views and a family farm house for accomodation.   Monte de Japonica leaflet 

Each holiday blends group singing with time to relax and explore. We typically sing in the mornings and early evenings, leaving afternoons free. The singing sessions offer a deep dive into the emotional and physical experience of singing—how our voice reflects our feelings, how it affects others, and how we build confidence in using it.

The atmosphere is relaxed and flexible, allowing the group to evolve naturally. Trust between singers is at the heart of our time together, supported by bodywork, sound, and vibration exercises. Eating together—whether in-house or at local restaurants—is central to the experience, offering space to share stories, reflect, and connect.

While we still sing beautiful songs, I’m increasingly drawn to playful vocal exploration beyond traditional singing. We spend some time improvising and using our voices freely as tools for expression. These holidays are as much about laughter and friendship as they are about music.
